The first Melbourne church erected for the New Church (or Swedenborgians) in 1872-3, designed by Lloyd Tayler. The main facade embraces a Decorated Gothic window of three lights flanked by buttresses, with a projecting porch. This church is now part of the Royal Eye & Ear Hospital.
